Winter Fair - Friday 6th December at 2:00pm

December is a very busy month for the school with school performances, Christingle and Carol services and of course our Winter Fair. However, for it to be even more successful than last year, we need your help.

To enable you and your child to be able to support this event, the main gates will open from 1.55pm when you will be able to collect your child. Reception and Nursery children can be collected from 1.45pm. You will need to go to your child’s classroom and sign them out before attending the fair.

Parents not collecting their children before 3.00pm will need to go to the side gate as normal for the end of the day.

Hamper Raffle

We are seeking donations of luxury gift items that can be put together to create a Christmas hamper. Donations can include toiletries, bubble bath, chocolate, biscuits, Xmas puddings, jams, chutneys, pickles, bottles and other gift items. Raffle tickets will be available to purchase after school each day next week and also at each school performance. All children donating gifts will have their names put into the hat for the last hamper, which will be drawn during our Christmas Dinner on 17th December.

Please bring your donations to the school office by Wednesday 4th December.

Non-Uniform Day

On Tuesday 3rd December we will be holding a non-uniform day in exchange for donations of smellies, bottles or sweets/chocolates for our Winter Fair tombola. Please can you bring in these donations on the day and make sure that they are unopened and in date.

Class stalls

Each of our classes will be running a stall, selling Christmas related products that the children themselves have made. These might be cards, calendars, decorations or Christmas treats.

Father Christmas

Father Christmas will also be paying Sunny Bank School a visit. Please see attached form and pre-book to come and see him in his grotto!

We have a few stalls from local businesses, but if you know someone that would like a stall at the fair please ask them to contact the school office.

Mince pies, mulled wine and other refreshments will also be available.

The PTA have worked hard to organise this year’s event so that it will be successful. The money that is raised will go towards supporting our pupils to attend the Young Voices at the O2 and to help subsidise the planned residential for Year 6 (further details to follow).

We look forward to seeing you at the Winter Fair.

To be the best we can be
