This is a very important term for the children with their SATs tests in May. The children have worked extremely hard to prepare for these tests and we wish them every success.
After SATs we hope your children enjoy the variety of activities and opportunities that will be taking place in the classroom and enjoy their final weeks at Sunny Bank Primary.
Last term the children enjoyed creating their own board game and set up a company to market and promote their games. The games showed great imagination and the children’s presentations were very persuasive.
Thank you for the amazing homework that your children produced last term for Alchemy Island.. The children obviously enjoyed researching and working on this project and I look forward to seeing their homework on the Tudors later this term.
Booster groups for reading continue before school each day and the Writing Enrichment Group continues after school Monday – Wednesday until 4pm with Mr. Sammult. The children who have attended these groups have found them invaluable and enabled them to make good progress in their general school work.
