Nursery Class Newsletter

Our topic for this term is ‘Why do leaves go crispy?’. We will be exploring about Autumn and the season changes.

You can help your child at home through:

Talk about Autumn colours.

Exploring different Autumn treasures. Visit a wood and talk about what they find.

Making Autumn pictures using pinecones, conkers and leaves. We would love to see anything you make at home with your child, so do bring it in!

In the Nursery we encourage the children to follow the rules and routines. The children have a photo of themselves starting on the green smiley face which means they are ready to learn. They remain here most of the time unless given warning about unacceptable behaviour which may result in timeout. They may also proceed to outstanding where they receive a golden leaf which will go on our achievement tree.
