It is always a magical time of year as the weather gets colder and our thoughts turn to Christmas and presents and celebrations. I am delighted to inform you that Mr Miles has recently received a wonderful gift and is celebrating the arrival of his daughter. I am sure that you will join with us in congratulating him and his family.
You may also be aware that Mrs Martin is also expecting a baby early next year. Unfortunately, there have been some health complications and she has had to take an extended leave of absence to ensure that she protects both herself and the baby.
With both Year 1 classes joining together and moving down to the main Sunny Bank site from Monday, Miss England will be the children’s permanent class teacher and the class will be called Hedgehogs. Parents that have booked an appointment with Mrs Martin for
parents evening next week will be contacted by the school office to rearrange this with
Miss England instead.

Friday 6th December – Winter Fair 2-4pm – all welcome
Tuesday 10th December – Year R Nativity performance at 2pm
Wednesday 11th December – KS1 Christingle at 2pm (in church)
Thursday 12th December – SCHOOL CLOSED FOR USE AS POLLING STATION
Friday 13th December – Nursery Christmas Stay and Play sessions (am + pm)
Monday 16th December – KS2 Carol service at 6pm (in church)
Tuesday 17th December – KS2 Carol service at 10.30am (in church); Christmas Jumper & Christmas Dinner Day
Wednesday 18th December – Last Day of Term – usual finish time.
